Self Love
So many of us have been taught that ‘self love’ is selfish, that to think of others first is the sign of a well balanced person. Do you believe this? Is it even possible? How can one give to another what they are not experiencing? Most of us have been taught to treat your neighbor as you treat yourself. How do you treat yourself? Do you have kind words for yourself? Do you take care of your body, your vehicle in this life? Do you treat yourself well? Self love is also about being able to receive. A truly well balanced person can give and receive easily with no attached negativity, guilt, shame, judgement … How do you receive love, kindness, abundance from others? Are you appreciative, in gratitude? If you were to think of love as an asset, like money in the bank, the more you have the more it appreciates and vs the more you appreciate the more you have. Self Love is vital for your health and the health of all those around you. It is a genuine contribution to our world … to love yourself and then let your love spill out to the rest of the world.
